طراحان صاحب‎سبک همواره جایی در گوشه و کنار طرح، اثری از خود به جای می‎گذارند. در طراحی میز پذیرش هتل ناو اما خبری از امضای طراح نیست. در این شاهکار، خود طراح شخصاً حضور دارد گویی طرح و طراح مترادف هم شده‎اند. گویی حضور طرح همزمان همان حضور طراح است و نه تداعی کننده‎ی نگاه و طرز فکر او.

میز پذیرش غول‌پیکر صورتی‌رنگ، قلب تپنده این هتل است. گویی نهنگی مهربان و دوست‌داشتنی از اعماق دریای تخیل سر برآورده و آماده است تا شما را در آغوش خود بگیرد. این میز با انحنای ظریف و نرم خود، حسی از امنیت و آرامش را به شما القا می‌کند و شما را به وجد می‌آورد و آنقدر چشم‎نواز است که بیننده را در برابر این پرسش قرار می‎دهد: پیشخوان برای هتل طراحی شده یا هتل برای پیشخوان؟

حضور بی‎باک رنگ در سرتاسر این پیشخوان به چشم می‌آید. نقوش زرد رنگ روی دیوار پشت میز پذیرش، شور و نشاط را به فضا هدیه می‌کنند و به رنگ صورتی اجازه‎ی تسخیر بی‎شرمانه‎ی محیط را نمی‎دهند. این نقوش، با طراحی جسورانه فضایی شاداب و پرانرژی را به وجود می‌آورند که همنشینی هیولای مهربان صورتی با محیط را تسهیل میکند.

پیشخوان هتل ناو برلین، تنها مکانی برای پذیرش مسافر خسته از راه و بدرقه‎ی او نیست، بلکه اثری هنری است که با ظرافت و دقت تمام توسط کریم رشید خلق شده است. هر انحنا، داستانی برای گفتن دارد و شما را به دنیای رویاها و تخیلاتتان می‌برد.
